• On Saturday, February 4th, the Windham Bigg Play takes orders for their annual Super Sunday Remy's Grinder Sale. Choose from Salami or Ham 12 inch grinders for $7. Grinders can be picked up on Sunday, February 5th at the Elks Hall on Pleasant Street in Willimantic, from noon until 3pm.

Eastern Connecticut State University is hosting a blood drive on February 6th from 10:30am until 4:15pm in the Student Center.

• The 2012 Cupid Nominations are being accepted at the Windham Recreation Department in Willimantic. Nominate someone that has had a positive impact on our community! The deadline for entries is February 6th at 5pm. Email your nominations to windhamrec@windhamct.com

• On Saturday, February 11th, there will be a Valentine's Dance at 7pm at the Eagleville Fire House on Rt 32 to raise money for the Mansfield Fire Fighters Association. Tickets are just $10 per person.

• Also on Saturday, February 11th, The First Congregational Church of Coventry will be hosting a buffet style Roast Pork Supper from 4:30 until 6:30pm. It will be held at the Fellowship Hall at 1171 Main Street in Coventry. The price is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, $6 for children ages 6-12 and the event is free for children under 5.

• The Lebanon Historical Society is hosting a pottery, China and glass seminar as a part of their "preserving your family heirlooms" workshop from 10am until noon. The event is free for members, and $2 for non-members. For more information, call (860) 642-6579 or email museum@historyoflebanon.org
